Electricity Grids which charge consumers for using energy from grid and reward users for feeding energy TO the grid are real and no longer a distant possibility.
In a few years all the utilities will deploy these technologies and users who have alternate energy sources feeding energy into the grid will start growing rapidly.
How about cloud computing behaving the same way. ?
Is it possible that over a period of time, all the home PC users allow their computing power to be harnessed by companies who sell computing on demand.
Will we have cloud providers who use a large number of computers shared across the globe as their computing pool rather than sell computing power housed in large Data Centres?
